About The Position

Rocket Communications is an enterprise UX Design company focused on designing mission-critical applications and systems. We are seeking a Denver-based Front End developer who has an active Top Secret Clearance to join our team. If you have JavaScript/TypeScript experience and a solid understanding of key web application design principles, you might be a great fit in helping us solve some of our nation’s most complex space app user experience challenges. We are a small company dispersed across the U.S. Our work can be challenging and complex, but our team is fun, friendly, and supportive. This is a fully onsite role in Greenwood Village, CO. Due to our work with the DoD, this person needs to already have Active Top Secret Clearance.

Requirements

3+ years experience developing complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
Experience with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS, Javascript ES6+).
Knowledgeable about modern frameworks such as Vue.js, React, and/or Angular.
Understand key web application design principles.
Active Top Secret Clearance.
Willing to work onsite daily in Greenwood Village, CO.
US Citizen who lives in the USA.

Nice To Haves

Full Stack & Backend experience
Experience with JavaScript unit testing (e.g., Jasmine, Karma, or Vitest)
Experience with end-to-end testing (e.g., Cypress)
Experience using Git and Jira in a development workflow
Experience working in an agile environment
Experience with web visualization frameworks such as D3.js or Cesium
Experience with SCSS and Bootstrap
Knowledge of observer design patterns utilizing RxJS or a similar library
Knowledge of user centered design principles and experience with Sketch/Figma or equivalent design tools

Responsibilities

Develop complex, intelligent, and secure web applications with modern web technologies, prioritizing client-side development.
Ensure the feasibility of the design, clarify ambiguous designs, and build reusable code and components.
Work closely with both internal and external design teams.
Engage in the UI/UX design process.
