About The Position

Belay Technologies is seeking a Mid/Senior-Level Front-End Developer to join their intel team to support Reporting Tool Suite Sustainment efforts. The support will focus on the development and sustainment of the WEBCANDID and TESTFLIGHT tools. WEBCANDID tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners globally. Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current WEBCANDID interface. TESTFLIGHT is a high-performance geospatial collaboration tool that provides a single repository for formal and informal finished intelligence products. Efforts will include enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current TESTFLIGHT interface as well as redeveloping a new frontend to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.

Requirements

  • TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or four (4) years of additional SWE or related experience.
  • Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years’ experience.
  • At least eight (8) years’ experience as a Software Engineer in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, or problem diagnosis/resolution.
  • At least six (6) years’ experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++, JavaScript.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience developing software for Microsoft Windows or UNIX/Linux/Centos family of operating systems.
  • Experience on the design and development of at least one Object Oriented system.
  • Java 8+
  • Understanding, maintaining, and troubleshooting interfaces between multiple applications
  • GWT

Responsibilities

  • Development and sustainment of the WEBCANDID and TESTFLIGHT tools.
  • Enhancing section 508 accessibility of the current WEBCANDID interface.

  • Redeveloping a new frontend for TESTFLIGHT to incorporate section 508 accessibility capabilities in a new user interface.
  • Communicating directions and providing guidance to junior programmers/analysts.
