About The Position

As a Front-End Developer/Automation Engineer, you will build user-facing web applications while implementing and maintaining warehouse automation job. You will work within a fast-paced manufacturing small team environment, supporting both internal and external department customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in frontend development, with a focus on automation, 2–5+ years.
  • Familiar and experienced in IoT deployment and management tools such as Python, Java Script, SQL are required.
  • Experience with Vue.js.
  • Version control (Git), build tools (Webpack, Vite), and browser developer tools.
  • Knowledge of responsive design, web accessibility (WCAG), and RESTful APIs.
  • Knowledge and experienced in industrial control systems, sensors and actuators, robotics and motion control, electrical design and troubleshooting, field device integration.
  • Excellent Project Management Skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across multiple departments and levels within and outside the company.
  • Strong data analytics mathematically, computationally, and the ability to program scalable dynamic systems to react and distribute information to human and system stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Kafka, Kubernetes, Docker, Airtable, and Graphana.
  • Rust, HTML, CSS, Postgres programming are not required but preferred.
  • Semiconductor, Manufacturing, Supply Chain experience is a plus.
  • Machine vision with ML workflows experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Cassandra preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain user-facing features using modern frameworks like Vue.
  • Implement and maintain warehouse automation job, including robotics, conveyors, and software—to optimize storage, picking, packing, shipping operations, autonomous robotics, IoT, and human data input.
  • Maximize application speed and scalability, optimizing for fast load times.
  • Translate design wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring technical feasibility and design consistency.
  • Debug cross-browser compatibility issues and troubleshoot UI bugs.
  • Work with backend developers, UI/UX designers, and stakeholders to integrate APIs and ensure seamless functionality.
  • Bridge the gap between software (code/scripts) and physical hardware.
  • Lead on-site hardware installation, commissioning, and validation.
  • Implement safety-rated hardware in accordance with industrial standards.
