We are searching for a dynamic, skilled, and safety-focused Front-End Commercial Driver (CDL) to join our growing team in Weldon, NC! If you enjoy precision driving, operating heavy-duty equipment, and mastering a local commercial route every single day, we want you behind the wheel of a GFL truck.

Requirements

Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
1+ years of commercial driving experience (front-load, waste industry, or heavy vehicle experience is a major plus!).
Comfortable operating joystick controls and hydraulic lifting mechanisms in varied environments.
Uncompromising commitment to safety guidelines, vehicle upkeep, and road regulations.
Ability to step in and out of the cab frequently and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located is required.
Successful candidates will be required to provide valid documentation confirming their eligibility to work in the country where the job is located prior to their start date.

Responsibilities

Safely operate front-end loading trucks and hydraulic fork systems to lift and empty commercial waste containers across the Weldon area.
Navigate local commercial sites, business parks, and tight urban spaces with care and efficiency.
Deliver friendly, dependable service as the direct face of GFL to our commercial business partners.
Perform thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain optimal safety and truck performance.
Communicate closely with dispatchers and operations teams to solve route challenges on the fly.
