Front End Clerk
About The Position
Provide World Famous Friendly Customer Service to Customers, Team Members & Outside Vendors. This role involves cashiering, bagging, cleaning, merchandising, stocking, and rotating product. Essential Job Functions include providing world-famous friendly customer service, working as part of a team, accurately handling cash transactions, bagging groceries appropriately, assisting customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles, rotating perishable merchandise and removing out-of-date products, greeting customers, maintaining a neat appearance according to the company's dress code, keeping store shelves fully stocked, assisting in building store displays, observing department policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean work area and check stand. The role also requires learning, following, and modeling all safety operating procedures and abiding by all company policies.
Requirements
- Provide a World-Famous Friendly attitude to customers & team members.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to read case labels and shelf tags.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
- Ability to multi-task & perform all tasks with a sense of urgency.
- Ability to count chance & balance cash drawer.
- Ability to learn, follow and model all safety operating procedures.
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 45 pounds.
- Able to stand on your feet continuously on a regular basis.
Responsibilities

- Greet customers who come into the store and be observant.
- Maintain a neat appearance according to the company’s dress code policy.
- Keep store shelves fully stocked according to information provided.

- Keep work area, check stand, front end clean.
- Learn, follow, and model all safety operating procedures.
- Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
