About The Position

HomeGoods Annapolis is now hiring for Daytime Part-Time Front End Cashiers. The ideal candidate must be able to deliver world-class customer service and promote our TJX Rewards Program. Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced retail environment is preferred. This role involves engaging with customers, embodying customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Responsibilities include accurately processing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, merchandising, and contributing to loss prevention and safety standards. This position may involve cross-training in multiple store areas to support business needs.

Responsibilities

Delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers.
Embodying customer experience principles and philosophy.
Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.
Adhering to all operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
Accurately ringing customer purchases/returns and counting change back to customer.
Promoting credit and loyalty programs.
Maintaining and upholding merchandising philosophy and following established merchandising procedures and standards.
Accurately processing and preparing merchandise for the sales floor following company procedures and standards.
Initiating and participating in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
Maintaining all organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards for the sales floor and participating in the maintenance/cleanliness of the entire store.
Providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
Adhering to all labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Supporting and participating in store shrink reduction goals and programs.
Participating in safety awareness and maintaining a safe environment.
Other duties as assigned.
