About The Position

As a Cashier you will be responsible for handling customer transactions, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service. You will assist customers with locating products, answering inquiries, and providing information about promotions or discounts. You will accurately and efficiently process customer purchases with cash, credit/debit cards or other payment methods, ensuring correct change is provided for cash transactions. You will also count and reconcile the cash drawer at the beginning and end of the shift, stay informed about products, prices and promotions, and promote store loyalty programs, discounts and special promotions. Additionally, you will efficiently bag and package customer purchases with care, offer assistance with carrying bags or locating carts, and resolve customer concerns with a positive attitude. You will adhere to security measures such as checking identification for age-restricted purchases and monitoring for fraudulent activity, and perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
