About The Position
The Front End Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring customer satisfaction is at its highest within our store. The Front End Associate is often the first and last person a customer will have any interaction with during their shopping experience. Front End Associates are responsible for providing fast, friendly, and accurate check out to customers.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Minimum age requirement = 16 years old.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service.
- Operate Point of Sale Equipment.
- Take responsibility of a cash drawer during the shift.
- Properly bags groceries and loads them into customers’ vehicles carefully and neatly.
- Stocks shelves and rotate items as necessary.
- Bring in carts from the parking lot.
- Maintain a neat and organized till.
- Fill bag stations and stock registers with needed supplies
- Pick up trash from the parking lot.
- Follow security procedures.
- Performs night maintenance duties as directed.
- Adhere to company policy and local/state law on the sale of alcohol and tobacco products.
- Any other responsibilities as assigned by manager.
