About The Position

The Front Desk Team Lead will oversee our salon and spa’s guest services team. The ideal candidate will excel at customer service, manage front desk operations efficiently, and help drive sales and rebookings. As the Team Lead, you will ensure a seamless experience for all guests and assist in meeting the salon and spa’s sales and service goals.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a salon, spa, or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in team management or supervisory roles.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Sales-driven with a focus on reaching and exceeding goals.
  • Proficiency with salon/spa booking systems and software (experience with [insert preferred system, if applicable] is a plus).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the front desk team, ensuring they provide exceptional service.
  • Greet guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude, answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
  • Oversee the booking and scheduling of appointments, ensuring proper coordination with service providers.
  • Promote and upsell salon and spa services, retail products, and packages to guests.
  • Encourage guests to rebook services and follow up on client visits to maintain strong relationships.
  • Promote gift card and package sales to help achieve sales goals.
  • Oversee retail product inventory, track sales, and assist with merchandising and product displays.
  • Monitor daily operations, report on team performance, and track sales metrics, such as retail and service goals.
