The Front Desk Supervisor is responsible for supervising all aspects of the Front Desk functions, in accordance with hotel standards. This role requires directing, implementing, and maintaining a strong service and management philosophy that serves as a guide to respective staff. The position also involves being available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Key duties include maintaining complete knowledge of hotel features, room types, rates, room availability, and expected arrivals/departures; handling guest complaints to ensure satisfaction; assisting staff with their job functions to ensure optimum service to guests; monitoring and maintaining cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned areas; presenting guest folios and processing payments; and adhering to payment, cash handling, and credit policies/procedures. Other duties as assigned.
