About The Position

The Front Desk Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the front desk, ensuring every guest receives a warm welcome and a seamless stay. You will lead and support the guest service team, resolve guest concerns, and serve as Manager on Duty during your assigned shift. This role is for a modern hotel in the heart of Virginia Beach's Town Center business and entertainment district.

Requirements

• Prior hotel front desk experience required
• Strong customer service skills required
• Strong prioritization, time management, and attention to detail
• Able to communicate in English, verbal and written
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Bilingual a plus
• Hilton PEP property management system experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises front desk personnel, including guest service agents and night auditors, during the assigned shift.
• Oversees check-in/check-out procedures, reservations, and guest billing for accuracy.
• Resolves guest concerns and service issues promptly and professionally.
• Trains, coaches, and supports front desk associates to meet brand and service standards.
• Serves as Manager on Duty, overseeing hotel operations during the assigned shift.
• Handles cash and credit transactions and maintains accurate shift banks.
• Ensures Hilton brand standards and Shamin Hotels service expectations are met.
• Coordinates with Housekeeping and Maintenance on room readiness and guest needs.
• Supports the Front Office Manager with reporting and daily operations.
• Reports for scheduled shifts, on time and in uniform, in accordance with company policy.
• Knows and complies with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position and its duties.
• Performs other related duties as required.
