About The Position

The Hilton Garden Inn and Home2 Suites Anaheim Resort (“The Resort”) is seeking an experienced and motivated Front Desk Supervisor to join our growing team. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of related hospitality or front office experience.
  • Strong guest service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily front desk operations while ensuring exceptional guest service and adherence to established hotel, quality, and sustainability standards.
  • Provide leadership and support to front desk associates.
  • Serve as a key resource for resolving guest concerns and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.
  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support front desk associates, ensuring performance aligns with established brand and hotel standards and HHM core values.
  • Supervise daily front desk operations and provide leadership and direction to the team.
  • Resolve guest complaints and concerns by thoroughly researching situations and determining effective, appropriate solutions.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction scores and implement strategies to improve departmental and overall guest satisfaction.
  • Oversee front office operations in the absence of the Front Office Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Welcome guests promptly upon arrival and efficiently register and assign rooms.
  • Provide guests with welcome folders, room keys, certificates, coupons, refreshment center keys, and other applicable materials.
  • Accurately process guest bills, collect payments, handle cash, and provide appropriate change.
  • Close guest accounts at checkout and address concerns or dissatisfaction by identifying appropriate resolutions, which may include authorizing revenue adjustments within established guidelines.
  • Develop and implement specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely action plans to address guest service deficiencies.
  • Ensure the hotel entrance, front desk, reception area, and other public areas are clean, organized, and well maintained.
  • Promote and maintain a safe work environment by following established safety procedures, including MSDS and OSHA standards, and properly using required protective equipment.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
