About The Position

San Bernardino Nissan is looking for a part-time Receptionist to work evening shifts during the week and weekend. You are the first face our guests see when they walk in our front doors. We are looking for a friendly, helpful, and dependable new employee to add to our team. As a Receptionist, we provide exceptional customer service for all walk-in guests on the showroom floor and all calls we receive over the phone. It is our duty to answer all inbound calls in a professional, customer-friendly manner and transfer all calls to the correct party or department in a timely manner. We are the first person our guests speak with, and we play a big role in transitioning our guests to our Sales team or other departments. This is an entry-level position that is part-time with the ability to learn more.

Requirements

  • Must have great customer service skills and capabilities to work with our guests and team members
  • Time management, communication, and multitasking skills are a must
  • Ability to work closely with Management team, Sales team, Service team, and Accounting office

Nice To Haves

  • customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Receptionist: 1 year (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Answers all calls in accordance with company policies, using the company approved greeting in a friendly and professional manner
  • Responds quickly and accurately to incoming telephone calls by transferring to the correct party
  • Greets and directs guests to the correct individual and notifies the appropriate person that their guest has arrived
  • Answers basic customer inquiries and refers more complex inquiries to the appropriate person
  • Gain knowledge of services other departments offer to assist our guests
  • Sorting and sending mail
  • Answering and routing phone calls
  • Other duties as assigned
