Responsibilities

  • Be flexible for opening or closing shifts.
  • Be the face of the club, always greeting guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Be knowledgeable of Planet Fitness offerings, answer phones courteously, and assist callers with questions.
  • Facilitate an unforgettable experience at the front desk by checking in members, assisting with billing inquiries, providing tours, actively listening to member questions, escalating issues for solutions, and logging amenities to track usage and club performance.
  • Be aware of company promotions, events, and changes that impact the member experience.
  • Be an expert of the POS system to enroll new members, assist current members with billing inquiries, update personal information, or process beverage/merchandise sales.
  • Perform daily upkeep of the entryway, ensuring the front of the house (windows, lobby, front desk, and other areas) is clean.
  • Focus on completing training courses and actively seek opportunities for additional development.
