About The Position

The Front Desk Night Audit will be responsible for ensuring smooth overnight operations, including guest check-ins/outs, processing payments, and handling all guests' inquiries and requests, courteously and efficiently. Additional responsibilities may include but are not limited to assisting VIP guests, managing incoming calls, responding to emergencies, performing nightly audit procedures, supporting overnight reports and occasionally performing Valet duties when necessity dictates. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering Forbes Five-Star service. This role is an OVERNIGHT position, and all candidates must be able to work weekends, holidays, and nights. We have a full-time position available.

Requirements

  • High school graduate.
  • Ability to compute accurate mathematical calculations.
  • Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate in English with guests/visitors, management and co-workers to their understanding, both in person and by telephone.
  • Ability to provide legible communication and directions.
  • Previous experience as Front Desk Agent.
  • Ability to input and access data in computer.
  • Ability to understand guest inquiries and provide responses.
  • Ability to promote positive relations with all individuals who approach the Front Desk and by telephone.
  • Ability to focus on guests' needs, remaining calm and courteous.
  • Ability to think clearly, quickly and make concise decisions.
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow up.
  • Ability to work well under pressure of multiple arrivals/departures within any given period of time.
  • Ability to focus attention on details.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of all guests and hotel information.
  • Ability to ensure security of guest room access.
  • Ability to remain stationary at assigned post for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work cohesively with other departments and co-workers as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Valet experience preferred (may occasionally need to perform Valet duties when necessity dictates)
