Abdoney Orthodontics is actively seeking a Front Desk Coordinator I to join their expanding team. This role is integral to the practice, focusing on customer interaction and administrative support. The coordinator will be responsible for greeting and receiving customers, ascertaining the purpose of their visit, and promptly notifying the relevant team members. Key administrative duties include welcoming visitors, providing information about clinic features, managing incoming calls by answering, screening, and routing them, and taking messages as required. The position also involves checking in new patients, collecting their initial information, and verifying insurance details. The coordinator will inform clinicians of patient arrivals, schedule appointments for returning patients, and print necessary documents such as appointment reminders and school/work excuses. Additional responsibilities include coordinating payment arrangements or account resolutions, handling incoming and outgoing shipments and mail, processing payments, updating patient charts and information, and actively driving internal marketing initiatives. The role also requires travel between different office locations.
