About The Position

IntelliRad Imaging is an established hospital-based radiology group in the greater Miami-Dade and Broward area. We are expanding our practice to include pre- and post-surgery clinic visits with our interventional and neurointerventional radiology patients. IntelliRad currently has 40 physicians and eleven nurse practitioners. A BILINGUAL (Spanish/English) Front Desk and Authorizations Associate is needed for an interventional and neurointerventional radiology group. Patients will be seen at our clinic in Plantation. The applicant MUST be fluent in both Spanish and English. The applicant MUST have excellent communication and customer service skills, as well as be computer/tech-savvy. Experience with Meditech and eClinicalWorks is required. Candidates will need to undergo a background check.

Requirements

• Bilingual - English/Spanish
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of two years’ experience in contact center or healthcare is required
• Proven understanding of Microsoft operating systems and Google products
• Medical office or medical scheduling knowledge
• Detail-oriented personality
• Good communication skills with the ability to provide great customer service
• Good interpersonal and active listening skills
• Experience with Meditech and eClinicalWorks is required

Responsibilities

• Input all patient demographics into ECW
• Obtain all proper documents prior to scheduling an appointment
• Patient calls to confirm patients and schedule telemedicine visits
• Pre-authorization calls/faxes/emails to referring physician offices
• Pre-authorizations calls/faxes/emails to insurance companies
• Patient calls to schedule outpatient imaging studies at hospitals
• Answering calls and texts from hospital nurses and interventional radiologists
• Utilizing scheduling software for telehealth and clinic patients
• Other job duties as assigned
