SugarTop Resort is the premier destination spot in the High Country, located in the Village of Sugar Mountain, N.C. This ten-story high-rise condominium complex houses 320 units and offers amenities such as a full-size heated indoor pool, two large hot tubs, one dry and one wet sauna, and a state-of-the-art workout facility. The resort boasts exceptional long-range views for sunrises and sunsets. It is adjacent to Sugar Ski, the premier winter sports venue in the Southeast, and a challenging 18-hole championship Golf Course is just minutes away. The iconic Grandfather Mountain is also nearby. The Weekend Front Desk Attendant greets and provides excellent customer service to all guests entering the facility. This role also provides support and services to the Association Management Staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous customer service experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within the parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
  • Ability to occasionally stand, walk, bend, or reach as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move objects up to 10–15 pounds (e.g., files, office supplies).
  • Manual dexterity to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, telephone, and other office equipment.
  • Visual acuity to read printed materials, spreadsheets, and computer screens.
  • Hearing and speech ability to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in virtual meetings.
  • Ability to work in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Ability to work a standard schedule, with occasional extended hours as required.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and respond to resident phone calls and emails; redirect as appropriate.
  • Greet all guests with a warm smile and a positive attitude, assisting them with questions and directing them to the appropriate team members as needed.
  • Assist with checking residents in as necessary to use the fitness center and pool.
  • Facilitate amenity access by having residents either provide completed documentation or read and sign the appropriate documentation to receive amenity access cards.
  • Update new/existing owners’ information in the appropriate system daily or as required.
  • Sort incoming mail and package deliveries for distribution.
  • Perform or assist with any operations as required to maintain workflow and to meet schedules.
  • Notify supervisors of unusual equipment or operating problems, and the need for additional materials and supplies.
  • Ensure all safety precautions are followed while performing job duties.
  • May be asked to assist with special projects and tasks.
  • Other work-related duties as needed.
