About The Position

The Front Desk Attendant is responsible for managing guest reservations, processing transactions, coordinating with hotel departments, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby. This role requires proactive customer service, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle guest issues effectively. The attendant will also be responsible for daily activity reports, property checks, and managing incoming calls and reservations, including sales of new reservations.

Responsibilities

  • Manage guest reservations including check-ins, check-outs, and completing reservations online and over the phone.
  • Process credit card and cash transactions.
  • Coordinate with all other hotel departments to provide superior service.
  • Prepare Daily Activity Reports and deposit drops.
  • Maintain the Front Desk and Hotel Lobby clean and organized, including weekly deep cleaning assignments.
  • Perform property and pool checks.
  • Handle occasional package shipment or receiving.
  • Manage incoming guest calls and reservations.
  • Utilize sales skills for new reservations, including rates and availability.
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of the property, including room types, amenities, and breakfast service.
