About The Position

The Front Desk Associate greets and assists residents, visitors, vendors, and staff members in the continuing effort to deliver outstanding resident service. The Front Desk Associate may be required to provide coverage for both Aviva buildings (Anchin Pavilion and Kobernick House). The schedule for this position is 4pm-midnight, Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

Requirements

  • High School diploma/equivalent required.
  • Able to work independently and without direct supervision.
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal skills, and time management skills.
  • Detailed-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Able to understand and react to emergency response and access control procedures in a timely manner.
  • Must be able to pass a Level 2 background screening and a drug test.

Nice To Haves

  • College-level courses in business or hospitality preferred.
  • Two to three years of business experience preferred.
  • Multilingual candidates preferred.
  • Command of information system hardware/software preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Meet and greet residents; check guests and service providers in/out.
  • Monitor and operate electronic security control systems to ensure a safe and secure environment across the campus.
  • Accurately maintain daily logs, records and forms.
  • Monitor Emergency Response System.
  • Respond to emergency situations in a calm, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Monitor and control access to the building.
  • Resolve and follow-up on all complaints/issues.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
