About The Position

The Front Desk Associate is responsible for welcoming guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, assigning rooms, and providing essential hotel information. This role involves handling phone calls, assisting guests with various requests, maintaining accurate records, processing payments, and resolving guest concerns. The associate will also support overall hotel operations and assist other departments as needed, upholding hotel brand standards and a commitment to guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests with a professional and friendly demeanor

  • Assign rooms, issue room keys, and provide hotel information
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest questions and requests promptly
  • Assist guests with reservations, directions, local recommendations, and concierge-style services
  • Maintain accurate guest records and process payments
  • Handle guest messages, packages, lost and found items, and special requests
  • Resolve guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary
  • Support overall hotel operations and assist other departments as needed
