About The Position

Coastal Health Spine & Pain Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and dependable Front Desk Receptionist to join our growing team in St. Marys, Georgia. Our practice is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care, and our front desk team plays a vital role in creating a positive experience for every patient who walks through our doors. The Front Desk Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for patients by providing outstanding customer service, managing appointments, verifying patient information, and supporting the clinical team with daily administrative duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred.
Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus, Team driven attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

Previous medical front office or customer service experience preferred.
Experience with EMR systems and insurance verification is a plus.
Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Dependable, team-oriented, and committed to excellent patient care.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion.
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments.
Check patients in and out efficiently.
Verify insurance information and collect co-pays and outstanding balances.
Enter and update patient demographics accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Scan and upload documents into patient charts.
Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow.
Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Perform additional administrative duties as assigned.
