Requirements

• Previous medical front desk or receptionist experience preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Ability to multitask in a busy office setting
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Reliable, organized, and team-oriented
• Minimum 1-3 years experience in the medical field preferred
• Multi-tasking, Flexibility, Telephone Skills, Customer Service, Time Management, Organization, Attention to Detail, Scheduling, Word Processing , Professionalism, Quality Focus, Team driven attitude, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and reliable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with EMR systems is a plus

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors with professionalism and compassion
• Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with questions
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments
• Check patients in and out accurately
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect copays and process payments
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
• Assist with scanning, filing, and maintaining patient records
• Coordinate with providers and clinical staff to support daily office flow
• Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and welcoming
