About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing superior guest services, including check-in/check-out of hotel guests courteously and efficiently. This role involves processing all payments according to established hotel requirements and providing information and services to guests or visitors in a friendly, professional manner. The agent must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts, and handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction. Additionally, the role includes processing all check-ins and check-outs, adhering to payment and cash handling policies, generating daily reports, and resolving discrepancies with Housekeeping.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum one year customer service experience
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
  • Computer experience preferred
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping
  • Other duties as assigned
