About The Position

Margaritaville Resort Fort Myers Beach is seeking applications from seasoned professionals for the exciting role of Front Office Representative. The Front Office Representative has a pivotal position as we welcome new and returning guests. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a guest-focused attitude to handle check-ins, resolve inquiries, and support overall front desk operations.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 2+ years of customer service experience.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Conflict resolution experience.
  • Patience and good listening skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Certificate or diploma in hospitality is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests with a warm, professional welcome upon arrival, creating a positive and memorable first impression.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accurate guest information, room assignments, and billing procedures.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries and concerns, delivering courteous, knowledgeable, and solution-oriented service at all times.
  • Assign rooms based on availability, guest preferences, and special requests, ensuring a smooth and personalized arrival experience.
  • Maintain accurate records by updating guest profiles, managing room inventory, and processing reservations and modifications.
  • Handle guest payments and transactions with accuracy, following all hotel policies for cash, credit card, and billing procedures.
  • Coordinate with bell staff and other departments to ensure timely and efficient guest service across all touchpoints.
  • Receive and distribute guest mail, packages, and messages with attention to accuracy and timeliness.
  • Offer knowledgeable recommendations on transportation, dining, activities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Process room service or amenity requests when applicable, ensuring prompt delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Proactively accommodate guest needs and special requests with professionalism and attention to detail, aiming to exceed expectations and create a personalized stay.
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned by management to support overall resort operations and guest satisfaction.
