About The Position

My Place Hotel-Jamestown, ND is looking for a friendly and dependable Front Desk Agent to join our morning team. This position is responsible for providing excellent guest service, handling front desk operations, assisting with breakfast and laundry duties, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming hotel environment. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys working with people in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Requirements

  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills
  • Basic computer and cash-handling skills
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stay active throughout the shift

Nice To Haves

  • Hotel or front desk experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handle guest check-ins and check-outs
  • Answer phones and assist with reservations and guest inquiries
  • Process payments and maintain accurate guest records
  • Respond promptly to guest needs and concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Wash, dry, fold, and organize hotel linens and towels
  • Keep laundry area clean and stocked
  • Monitor linen inventory and report supply needs
  • Clean and maintain lobby, hallways, and public restrooms
  • Restock coffee, My Store, and guest supplies as needed
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks when necessary
  • Take out trash and help maintain the overall cleanliness of the property
  • Report maintenance or safety issues to management
