This is an On-call position only. Responsibilities include registering and assigning rooms to guests, issuing room keys and escort instructions, sorting and tracking incoming mail and messages, and transmitting and receiving messages. The role also involves answering inquiries about hotel services, registration, and local attractions, keeping records of room availability and rates, computing bills, collecting payments, and making change. Additionally, the position handles making, confirming, and canceling reservations, posting charges if the interface is inoperable, making transportation or entertainment reservations for guests, and depositing guest valuables in the hotel safe deposit box. A full working knowledge and expertise of each shift, including night audit, is required.
