This position requires the Front Desk Agent to approach each guest interaction with the mindset of exceeding guest expectations. The agent will be responsible for driving the hotel shuttle as necessary or required, embracing the Cambria culture and personifying it in daily interactions with guests and co-workers. The role involves using a positive and clear speaking voice, listening to and understanding requests, responding with appropriate action, and providing accurate information. Key responsibilities include completing the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from a computer system, confirming guest details, promoting the guest loyalty program, making appropriate room selections, coding electronic keys, verifying credit cards, handling cash, posting charges, answering the telephone, inputting messages, issuing luggage claims, issuing mail and packages, closing guest accounts, resolving guest complaints, and remaining calm during emergency situations. The agent will also assist with morning breakfast duties when necessary and perform any other job-related duties as assigned.
