About The Position

The Front Desk Agent is responsible for handling guest check-ins and check-outs, processing payments, and ensuring guest satisfaction. This role requires a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, and involves resolving guest complaints and discrepancies. The agent will also be responsible for generating and distributing daily reports and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Accounting/Data Entry prior experience a plus.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.

Responsibilities

  • Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements.
  • Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures.
  • Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel.
  • Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping.
  • Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently.
  • Process all payments according to established hotel requirements.
  • Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner.
