The Front Desk Agent will attend to guests’ needs, including, but not limited to, registration, checkout and cashiering. Essential functions include greeting and welcoming guests upon arrival, registering guests into the computer, verifying reservation, address, and credit information, and providing outstanding customer service and name usage in guest interactions. The role also involves accepting payment for guests’ accounts both at the time of registration and at checkout, maintaining a house bank and making a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily, cashing checks and exchanging currency for guests, issuing keys and controlling entrance of safety deposit boxes, and posting miscellaneous charges as requested. Other miscellaneous functions include cleaning duties as assigned, inventory of office supplies, internal audits, credit checks, and bucket checks.

Requirements

  • Must be comfortable with computers and type 50 wpm.
  • Must be available to work holidays. No Exceptions.

Nice To Haves

  • OPERA Front Office System Knowledge is a big plus!
  • Hotel Background is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
