About The Position

This role is part of the Rooms Division and has a duration of 3.5 months. The Front Desk Agent will learn various front desk operations including the computer system, check-in/check-out procedures, promoting the Preferred Guest Program, and cashier responsibilities. The role also involves maintaining a house bank, making daily deposits, and accurately reporting receipts. Additionally, the agent will handle group arrivals, guest room assignments, walk-over procedures, hourly house counts, sell-out controls, and room key controls. The position requires knowledge of room up-selling techniques and the ability to resolve guest concerns.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a post-secondary ministerially recognized academic institution in the hospitality industry OR
  • Hospitality degree and at least 1 year of recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside of the USA) OR
  • 5 years recent relevant work experience in the (ultra) luxury hotel industry (outside the USA)
  • Shown consistent career growth over the last years
  • Shown serious commitment to your most recent employers
