The Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting and communicating cordially with guests, promptly and professionally checking them in and out of the hotel. This role also involves assisting in pre-registration and blocking of reservations when necessary. The agent will accurately manage cash handling, including receiving cash, checks, and credit card information from guests for payment of hotel charges and making change correctly. A thorough understanding of hotel rates, discounts, reservations, and cancellation procedures is essential.
