About The Position

Midas Hospitality is seeking a reliable and professional individual to manage the front desk during their shift with confidence and minimal supervision. The role is best suited for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable interacting with guests. No prior hotel experience is required, as full paid training is provided, but a strong work ethic and responsibility are essential. The schedule includes shifts from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, with weekday and weekend availability required. Weekends are rotated for a balanced schedule, with 3-4 days per week. Schedules are posted in advance.

Responsibilities

  • Running the front desk during your shift and serving as the main point of contact for guests.
  • Working independently, staying focused, thinking through situations, and keeping things on track.
  • Welcoming guests, completing registration procedures, assigning accommodations, issuing room keys, and providing directions and hotel information.
  • Maintaining accurate records of room availability, reservations, and guest accounts.
  • Ensuring all required documentation and transactions are properly completed.
  • Performing end-of-day closeout procedures.
  • Generating and reviewing daily reports.
  • Processing reservations, including creating, confirming, and canceling bookings.
  • Accurately handling cash, receipts, guest accounts, and credit transactions, ensuring all financial records are balanced.
