About The Position

The Inn at Bellefield is seeking a Front Desk Agent to join their team. This role involves providing superior guest services, including courteously and efficiently checking guests in and out, processing payments, and offering information and services in a friendly, professional manner. The agent will also handle guest complaints to ensure satisfaction, manage check-ins and check-outs according to hotel requirements, adhere to payment and cash handling policies, generate daily reports, and resolve discrepancies with housekeeping. The position requires flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Minimum one year customer service experience
• Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding
• Computer experience preferred
• Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele

Nice To Haves

• Previous hotel experience preferred
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide superior guest services including check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently
• Process all payments according to established hotel requirements
• Provide information and services to any guest or visitor in a friendly, professional manner
• Handle guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
• Process all check-ins and check-outs according to established hotel requirements
• Adhere to payment, cash handling and credit policies/procedures
• Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments/personnel
• Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping
• Other duties as assigned
