About The Position

The Front Desk Administrative Assistant will work collaboratively with leadership and team members to support the day-to-day operations of the office. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, visitors, and external partners while helping ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally. This position offers a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to work independently with minimal supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three years of administrative, clerical, office support, or related business experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
  • Experience managing office operations, including ordering and maintaining office supplies.
  • Experience handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages, including USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written communication skills with demonstrated attention to grammar, spelling, punctuation, and professionalism.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with employees, leadership, visitors, and community partners.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively manage unexpected situations.
  • Strong customer service mindset with a friendly, professional, and approachable demeanor.
  • Ability to process information accurately and make informed decisions within the scope of the position.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for incoming visitors, phone calls, emails, and general inquiries
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence and assist with office communications
  • Support employee communication and administrative needs
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and common areas to ensure a well-organized and functional workplace
  • Assist leadership and other business units with a variety of administrative and operational projects
  • Organize and maintain files, records, and documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with recordkeeping requirements
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to promote efficient office operations
