About The Position

Ono Hawaiian BBQ is a fast-casual restaurant serving Hawaiian plate lunches and island specialties, prepared from scratch with fresh ingredients. The Front Crew member helps provide a positive dining experience by delivering customer service, taking and processing orders, serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe restaurant environment. The role may be part-time or full-time.

Requirements

• Food Handler Card required by the state or local health department.
• Basic math skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Follow health codes, safety procedures, company policies, and the Front Crew Training Guideline.
• Greet customers, provide customer service, and assist customers with orders.
• Promote marketing promotions and new products to customers.
• Operate the POS system, handle payments, and serve food to customers.
• Complete cashier closing and daily closing procedures at the end of each shift or day.
• Maintain store cleanliness by completing daily and weekly cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
