Front Counter Worker - PT
About The Position
Part-time position (minimum of 30 hours/week) with daylight hours (schedule may vary). Hours range from 5:30 AM to 10:00 AM, 9:00 AM to close (2ish), or 5:30 AM to close (2ish). The closing time is 2:00 PM, but employees may stay later for closing tasks depending on business volume. Ability to work on some weekends is required. This role offers $14-16/hour, plus tips. Requirements
- Act 33/34 clearances will be required.
- Ability to read and write with basic math skills.
- Must be able to regularly lift up to 50lbs.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash registers, greet customers, take food and drink orders, and complete transactions.
- Regularly clean workstations, brew and grind coffee, restock cups and food items, and assist bakers.
- Handle guests’ concerns and complaints professionally and calmly to resolve problems according to agency policies.
- Complies with all proper uniform standards and sanitation/hygiene requirements.
- Present for all assigned shifts and holds self-accountable for ensuring successful transition to additional shifts.
- May need to stay late, come in early or report for shifts outside of the normal schedule.
- Demonstrates practical knowledge, problem-solving and decision-making skills; anticipates problems and develops workable solutions.
- Must be able to work on foot for long periods of time.
