About The Position
Friends Forever is a social inclusion club dedicated to breaking down social barriers between students. It serves as a platform where general education and special education students collaborate to build relationships and promote the acceptance of differences. The club welcomes students of all abilities to its gatherings and monthly outings within the Eden Prairie community. A key aspect of the club is encouraging students to embrace and foster interactions with peers of diverse ability ranges.
Requirements
- Must be able to welcome and promote opportunities to interact with students of all ability ranges.
- Must be able to work with both general education and special education students.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate social inclusion for students of all abilities.
- Organize and oversee club gatherings and monthly outings.
- Promote relationship-building between general education and special education students.
- Spread awareness about the acceptance of differences.
- Ensure a welcoming environment for all students.
