About The Position

Curtze Food Service, a 6th generation family-owned company with 145 years in business, is seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to work in our Fresh Seafood operation as a Fresh Seafood Packer in our Erie, PA location. The position requires lifting, stacking, and loading or unloading the product, as well as handling fresh seafood, including, but not limited to, salmon, swordfish, halibut, sea bass, tuna, and mahi mahi. NO SEAFOOD ALLERGIES.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift, stack, and load or unload product
• Must be able to handle fresh seafood
• No seafood allergies

Responsibilities

• Accurate seafood selection
• Careful packing of seafood products and ice packaging
• Truck loading
• Perform various functions as required to maintain optimal workflow
• Apply knowledge of driving, stocking, picking, and replenishing skills in maneuvering material handling equipment at varying speeds in difficult situations, such as heavy traffic, crowded conditions, wet or slippery floors, or high heights.
