Fresh Foods Team Member - FT Key Holder
About The Position
Goodness Me! is now hiring a full-time Fresh Foods Keyholder for our Hamilton – Upper Gage store location. This role involves being a primary point of contact for customers, assisting them with product location, suggestions, and recommendations. The position also requires ensuring store standards are maintained, assisting with merchandise display and stock rotation, inventory management, and processing warehouse stock. As a Keyholder/MOD, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth store operations in the absence of management, resolving customer complaints, completing daily checklists, monitoring temperatures, inspecting shipments, ensuring cleaning logs are followed, supporting employees, making end-of-day deposits, completing closing procedures, and securing the store at night.
Requirements
- Great communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for informing customers about products and services.
- Strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- The ability to stand for extended periods; up to 8 hours per shift.
- The ability to lift, move or manipulate objects up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility in availability, including, working evenings, weekends, and daytime shifts.
- Experience in a supervisory role is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Greeting customers, offering help in locating items and making any suggestions or recommendations that may be appropriate.
- Ensure store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards.
- Assist with display of merchandise, including replacing and rotating stock.
- Assist with inventory management.
- Receive and process warehouse stock products.
- Manually load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, and lifting devices.
- Ensure that store operations run smoothly in the absence of a store manager or assistant manager.
- Resolve customer complaints.
- Complete Manager on Duty check list.
- Check and log temperature checks.
- Inspect and goods for incoming and outgoing shipments, reject damaged goods.
- Ensure that all cleaning logs are being followed.
- Support employees with questions or problems that arise.
- Make end of day deposits.
- Completing end of night closing lists.
- Responsible for locking up and setting alarm.
- Other duties as assigned.
