About The Position

Transport Sheetz products to various Sheetz Stores in a safe and timely manner.

Requirements

• High School, GED, or equivalent required
• Must be minimum of 21 years old and eligible to engage in interstate travel required
• Minimum 5 years of driving experience required
• Valid state issued driver's license required
• Valid Medical Examiners Certificate (medical card) in accordance with DOT Guidelines required (must obtain and maintain post job offer)

Nice To Haves

• Commute distance must be less than 1 hour and 15 minutes from work location

Responsibilities

• Must consistently demonstrate respectful and professional behavior including interactions between customers and Sheetz employees.
• Load and unload product in a manner that ensure safety and minimal risk of damage to product. Verify that product is being held and delivered at appropriate temperatures to maintain product integrity, appearance and safety.
• Inspect truck for defects and safe operating condition before, during, and after trips and submit written report on the condition of the vehicle at the end of each trip.
• Perform all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures and comply with all federal, state and local regulations for safe operation of a motor vehicle.
• Report all accidents involving driver and/or company vehicle.
• Report delays due to breakdowns, weather or traffic conditions or other emergencies, or in the event of irregularities to pick-up or delivery.
• Complete all necessary paperwork related to truck operations and movements with accuracy.
