About The Position

As a Fresh Cut Produce Clerk, you’ll prepare fresh fruits and vegetables by slicing, dicing, and packaging produce. You’ll check produce for freshness, maintain clean and organized preparation areas, and create attractive displays. The role also involves helping with inventory management, restocking, and customer service. It is active and fast-paced, suited to someone who enjoys working with food, has a positive attitude, and works well in a team-oriented environment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in grocery, food service, or produce preparation is preferred.
• Comfort using knives and other preparation tools safely and precisely.
• Ability to identify quality produce and follow food safety and handling guidelines.
• Friendly, helpful attitude and ability to assist customers and communicate clearly.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized workspace.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs., with or without accommodation.
• Willingness to support fellow associates and contribute to a positive team environment.
