About The Position

This freelance, remote position is for a French Voice Contributor who can help improve AI by providing French (Quebec) language data. The role involves recording audio samples and participating in natural conversations and scripted scenarios. The total commitment is approximately 8 hours across two sessions.

Requirements

• Native-level French (Quebec) speaker.
• Natural, authentic, friendly, and conversational customer-service speaking style.
• Access to a professional home recording environment: high-quality microphone, pop filter, and a quiet space free of background noise.
• Ability to record audio meeting technical specifications: WAV format, 24-bit, 48kHz.
• External microphone required (e.g., Dynamic Mics: Shure SM58, Shure MV7 / MV7+, RODE PodMic / PodMic USB, or similar; Condenser mic: RODE NT-USB Mini, Blue Yeti / Yeti Orb, Blue Bluebird, Blue Baby Bottle, or similar).
• A dry room with no echo or hollow, distant quality.
• A quiet room with no HVAC hum, fans, traffic, appliances, or household noise during recording.
• Ability to produce audio samples in WAV format, 24-bit, 48 kHz, no compression.

Nice To Haves

• Room treatment such as isolation shields or sound absorbing pads.

Responsibilities

• Audition with two 30-second samples using a home studio setup.
• Complete two scheduled recording sessions of approximately 4 hours each.
• Participate in natural conversation, prompted discussion, and scripted customer-service scenarios.
• Record from your own home studio setup across both sessions.
