About The Position

Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company that delivers flexible and personalized tutoring programs. We are currently seeking an in-person French tutor to work for the full 2026/2027 academic school year (September to June). As a tutor, you will work one-on-one with students to provide personalized support and guidance in their academic pursuits. Tutoring sessions take place in students' homes or at a local public library. We are looking for dedicated professionals who are committed to helping students succeed throughout the academic year. Requirements

Energetic and enthusiastic teachers with experience teaching French at the Primary, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior levels.
Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum.
Fluency in spoken and written French.
Committed to providing excellent customer service.
Enjoy working with students and families.
Great communication skills.
Available for In-Person tutoring in student's home or public libraries.
Available to commit to tutoring assignments for the full 2026/2027 academic school year (September to June).
Openings in Aurora, Richmond Hill, King City, Markham & Newmarket areas.

Nice To Haves

Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification is preferred.
Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide academic support to students in French based on expertise and knowledge of the Ontario curriculum.
Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote a greater understanding of the material.
Provide remedial and enrichment support for students.
Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.
