About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic French Tutor to provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students of all skill levels in French. This role involves both online and in-person tutoring, assisting students with homework and test preparation, and utilizing effective teaching strategies to engage and motivate learners. The tutor will monitor student progress, provide feedback through session reports, and collaborate with teachers to align tutoring with classroom curriculum. A safe and supportive learning environment is essential, and the ability to commute reliably to clients is required. Flexible work-from-home options are available, but in-person availability is a must.

Requirements

• Fluency in French
• At least 2 years of tutoring experience
• Previous experience working with students, preferably with all ages
• Must be able to commute within the Broward county, FL area. Applicants who are not available for in person work will not be considered
• Knowledge of various teaching methods and techniques
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs

Nice To Haves

• Capable of teaching or tutoring other subjects including other foreign languages, English, social studies and history, mathematics, and science
