About The Position
The Easton Area School District is seeking a French Teacher for a Long-Term Substitute position at Easton Area High School for the 2026-2027 School Year. The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching French at the secondary level. This role requires a strong academic background, excellent references, knowledge of current educational research, and the ability to meet all local requirements. The position is a temporary, long-term substitute role.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area.
- Provide evidence of excellent educational references and related experience.
- Successfully complete a series of interviews.
- Submit a PA Standard Teaching Application.
- Submit a Letter of Interest.
- Submit a Resume.
- Submit three current Letters of Recommendation (within one year).
- Submit a Copy of Teaching Certificate.
- Submit a Copy of college/university transcripts.
- Provide Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check.
- Provide Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check.
- Provide Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance.
- Provide Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
Responsibilities
