About The Position

The Easton Area School District is seeking a Long Term Substitute French Teacher for Easton Area High School for the 2026-2027 School Year. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area. The selected candidate will demonstrate a strong academic record, excellent educational references and related experience, knowledge of current educational research, and meet all local requirements. Applications must be submitted electronically via the applicant tracking system. A complete application packet for external applicants includes a PA Standard Teaching Application, Letter of Interest, Resume, Three current Letters of Recommendation, Copy of Teaching Certificate, and Copy of college/university transcripts. Internal candidates only need to submit a letter of interest. The successful candidate will also need to provide Act 34 PSP Criminal Record Check, Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check, Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance, and the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.

Requirements

• Hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in the appropriate area.

• Submit a Copy of Teaching Certificate.

• Provide Act 114 FBI Criminal History Check.
• Provide Act 151 Child Abuse Clearance.
• Provide the Act 24/82 PDE 6004 form.
