About The Position

Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Freight Sales professional with expertise in both international and domestic freight solutions. This role is pivotal in expanding our customer base and optimizing freight sales across global and domestic markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of freight forwarding, domestic trucking, and third-party logistics (3PL) services, paired with a proven ability to cultivate and manage client relationships effectively.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of sales experience in freight forwarding, domestic trucking, international logistics, or 3PL services.
  • Robust knowledge of domestic and international transportation modes, trade compliance, Incoterms, and freight documentation.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and building a sustainable client portfolio.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Competency with CRM software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Minimum 3-5 years sales experience in international and domestic freight forwarding or trucking.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, trade compliance, and transportation documentation.
  • Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Multilingual abilities for handling diverse international client accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development by identifying and pursuing international and domestic freight sales opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with importers, exporters, freight brokers, and logistics partners.
  • Understand customer logistics needs and tailor customized freight solutions across air, ocean, and ground transportation.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, qualification, proposal preparation, negotiation, and closing deals.
  • Collaborate closely with operations, pricing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitor pricing, and regulatory requirements impacting freight shipping both domestically and internationally.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records in CRM systems and provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
