About The Position

Capstone is hiring Freight Handlers in Solon, OH to help move product safely and efficiently through a busy warehouse operation. This is an active, hands-on position for people who enjoy staying busy, working with a team, and taking pride in getting the job done right. As a Freight Handler, you'll help manage freight from the time it arrives at the facility through the next stage of distribution. You'll handle product, build and organize pallets, move freight throughout the warehouse, and help keep the operation running smoothly. This is physical work, but it's also team-driven work where your productivity matters.

Requirements

• Able to lift and carry freight weighing approximately 25–75 lbs.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and repeatedly handling product
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Safety-minded and willing to follow established procedures
• Comfortable working independently as well as with a team

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse, freight handling, loading/unloading, or material-handling experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Handling and moving freight throughout the warehouse
• Loading and unloading trailers as needed
• Sorting and organizing incoming and outgoing product
• Building, stacking, wrapping, and securing pallets
• Positioning freight for storage, shipment, or further processing
• Checking and organizing product for accuracy
• Repacking or rebuilding freight when necessary
• Maintaining a clean and safe dock and warehouse area
• Following proper lifting, handling, and safety procedures
• Assisting with other warehouse functions based on daily operational needs
