About The Position

CrossCountry Freight Solutions (CCFS) is seeking a Freight Handler Lead with a safety-first mindset and effective communication skills. This role involves leading by example, taking accountability for the team, and completing daily warehouse duties. CCFS aims for universal prosperity with its customers, company, team members, and communities, utilizing the latest technology for quality service and on-time delivery throughout the Western and Central United States.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to ninety (90) pounds
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience
• Previous supervisory or management experience

Responsibilities

• Ensure all team members are on time and ready for work.
• Inspect the dock to make sure it is a clean and safe work environment.
• Coordinate dock operations with dispatch.
• Meet with Operations Supervisors for daily assignments.
• Assist with loading and unloading a wide variety of freight.
